Concerns Raised Over Recent Elections by JUI-F and PTI

The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have expressed concerns about the outcome of the recent elections, suggesting that the country may not see economic or political stability as a result.

In a press conference held in Islamabad, Hafiz Hamdullah, a prominent leader from JUI-F, alongside members of PTI, addressed the media. Hamdullah emphasized that both parties share the belief that the elections were not conducted fairly. He asserted that the lack of transparency in the electoral process casts doubt on the legitimacy of the results.

Hamdullah further stated that the JUI-F has formally rejected the election results, indicating their dissatisfaction with the outcome. He highlighted that representatives from PTI had visited Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s residence to discuss the matter, and the JUI-F leadership welcomed their delegation.

Moreover, Hamdullah pointed out that the aftermath of the elections has led to visible political tension within the country, hinting at potential conflicts arising from the disputed results.

On the PTI side, Barrister Saif acknowledged that a delegation from their party sought a meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, indicating a desire for dialogue and discussion on the election-related concerns.

The statements made by both JUI-F and PTI underscore the deep-seated apprehensions regarding the fairness and integrity of the electoral process, raising questions about the future stability of the nation in both economic and political spheres.
