ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday came down hard on the Supreme Court of Pakistan during his speech in the National Assembly.
In his fiery speech at the lower house of the parliament, Bilawal Bhutto said, “The Supreme Court of Pakistan is not just the Chief Justice of Pakistan, it is each and every member of the Supreme Court.”

He said that representatives of government and opposition should also be included in the committee which will meet and decide the new legislation. “We will decide,” said Bilawal.
Referring to the current judiciary, the PPP chairman said that the judiciary had given a verdict in which it said, “The prime minister does not represent the government, it is the federal cabinet who represent it. Prime minister cannot take the decision at his own. You need to get approval from the cabinet for the legislation.”
Likewise, the foreign minister said, the “The Supreme Court of Pakistan is not just the Chief Justice of Pakistan, it is each and every member of the Supreme Court.”
On which, the house including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thumped the benches.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also lashed out at PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He termed Imran Khan the biggest ‘fraudulent person’ in Pakistan’s history.
The PM said that he initially accused of the US of conspiracy against his government and later he took a U-turn on this issue. The PM said that Imran Khan was summoned by the court again and again but he did not bother to appear before the courts. He said that Khan turned out to be arrogant before the judges of the courts.
