Gold Prices Drop Sharply in Pakistan, Fall by Rs8,900 Per Tola

Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a significant decline on Tuesday, tracking a downward trend in the international market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs8,900 per tola, bringing it down to Rs485,062.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs7,630, settling at Rs415,862.

Globally, gold prices also moved lower, decreasing by $89 to reach $4,627 per ounce. Local market prices typically include a premium of around $20 over international rates.

Silver followed the same trend, with prices falling by Rs238 per tola to Rs7,811. The price of 10 grams of silver also dropped by Rs204, reaching Rs6,696.

The drop in precious metal prices reflects ongoing fluctuations in global markets, which continue to influence local pricing trends. Traders are closely monitoring international developments for further direction in the coming days.
