Now you can  log in same WhatsApp account on up to four phones

After years of requests from users, WhatsApp is rolling out the option for users to log into the messaging app from up to four phones. Previously, users were only able to use one WhatsApp account on one phone, but with this new feature, users will be able to connect WhatsApp on the web, android tablets, companion phones, and other devices by linking up to four devices to their primary phone at a time.

The announcement was made by Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who took to the social media platform to share the news. This feature will allow users’ messages to be synced across devices, including other phones, and will be rolled out to all users in the coming weeks.

However, WhatsApp’s multi-phone support was delayed due to full end-to-end encryption support for chats and calls. The lack of multi-phone support was a result of the company’s commitment to protecting users’ privacy, but back in 2021, WhatsApp started testing multi-device compatibility with select beta users. The company developed new technology to sync messages across devices without compromising end-to-end encryption protection, and it is now ready to be rolled out to all users.

WhatsApp competitors like Telegram and Messenger already offer multi-device sync for messages, but they didn’t have support for end-to-end encryption. With the new multi-phone support, WhatsApp can now offer both end-to-end encryption and multi-device sync, making it a unique messaging service.

The new feature will allow users to access the app on other phones even if one phone is switched off. This will be a major convenience for users who have multiple phones or frequently switch between devices. The new way to link devices using a one-time code is also a major improvement over the previous method, which required scanning a QR code on your mobile phone.

According to a recent blog post, the messaging app is introducing a new method for linking devices using a one-time code. Users will be able to obtain a code by entering their mobile number on WhatsApp Web, which they can use to link their devices instead of having to scan the QR code on their mobile phone. The company plans to make this feature available for more linked devices in the future.

As one of the biggest messaging services, it has over 2 billion users. The new multi-phone support is a welcome addition that will make the app more accessible to users and further solidify its position as one of the most popular messaging apps in the world.

In conclusion, the new multi-phone support feature on WhatsApp will allow users to access their account on up to four phones, making it easier to stay connected with friends and family. The end-to-end encryption feature will also protect users’ privacy, making it a unique messaging service. This new feature will be available to all users in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for updates from this app.
