To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, the General Presidency has assigned a workforce of 4,000 dedicated workers who will clean the Holy Kaaba ten times daily. The General Presidency of the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque is leaving no stone unturned in their preparations to welcome pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj season. With a focus on cleanliness and the well-being of worshippers, the authorities have devised a comprehensive plan to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.

  1. Enhanced Cleaning Efforts: To maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, the General Presidency has assigned a workforce of 4,000 dedicated workers who will clean the Holy Kaaba ten times daily. This intensified cleaning schedule aims to provide a pristine environment for pilgrims to perform their sacred rituals.
  2. Distribution of Zamzam Water: Recognizing the significance of Zamzam water to pilgrims, the General Presidency will distribute 7,000 bottles of Zamzam water. This gesture ensures that pilgrims have easy access to this holy water, enabling them to stay hydrated during their spiritual journey.
  3. Additional Assistance for Pilgrims: Acknowledging the needs of the large influx of pilgrims, the General Presidency will deploy 800 additional workers within the mosque premises. These workers will be readily available to assist pilgrims, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience throughout their visit.
  4. Convenient Availability of Zamzam Water: To facilitate easy access to Zamzam water, the General Presidency will strategically place 4,500 Zamzam water containers at various locations around the mosque. Pilgrims will find it convenient to quench their thirst and replenish their water supplies while fulfilling their religious obligations.
  5. Efficient Management of Vehicles: To streamline operations, the General Presidency has implemented a fleet of vehicles, including regular and electric ones, which will be managed through a special app. This innovative approach will aid in organizing tasks, optimizing vehicle usage, and ensuring the efficiency of transportation services provided to pilgrims.
  6. Guidance and Crowd Management: Recognizing the importance of maintaining order and facilitating the smooth flow of worshippers, dedicated staff members will be present at the entrances of the mosque. Their role will be to guide people and manage the movement of pilgrims, ensuring a calm and organized atmosphere.
  7. Advanced Technology for Cleanliness: The General Presidency has embraced advanced technology to maintain the cleanliness of the mosque. Specialized robots have been introduced that can sterilize the mosque autonomously, reaching every corner efficiently. In addition, devices capable of sterilizing both the air and surfaces simultaneously will be utilized, ensuring a thorough sanitization process. Fog sterilizers will be employed in hard-to-reach areas to guarantee a comprehensive cleansing.
  8. Hygiene Measures: To promote a safe and healthy environment, the General Presidency will install 600 hands-free hand sanitizers throughout the mosque. These sanitizers will encourage pilgrims to maintain proper hand hygiene, reducing the risk of the spread of infections within the premises.
  9. Thorough Cleaning and Sterilization: A dedicated team will meticulously clean the mosque, its courtyards, and its toilets using over 70,000 liters of sterilizers. Adhering to international health standards, this comprehensive cleaning regimen aims to provide a safe and hygienic environment for all worshippers.
