The United Nations (UN) has recently announced an excellent opportunity for students from Pakistan to gain practical experience through their paid internship program. This program is designed to help young people work alongside experienced professionals in diverse fields, allowing them to gain practical experience and develop crucial skills that will help them secure future employment opportunities.
This program will offer more than 100 paid internships in different UN agencies, including the World Health Organization, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United Nations Children’s Fund, among others. The selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of PKR 200,000 to cover their living expenses during the internship.
Eligibility Criteria
Here are the three requirements for the UN internship program mentioned below:
- Candidates must be a Pakistani national.
- Candidates must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate education & be currently enrolled in a university or have graduated within the last year.
- Candidates must have excellence in English, as this is the official working language of the UN.
Required Documents
- Candidates’ Cover letter must explaining why respective individuals are interested in internship program and how applicants meet the eligibility criteria.
- Resume/CV highlighting applicants’ academic and professional experiences.
- Academic transcripts or other proof of registration in a university.
- Language excellence certificate (if applicable).
- To apply for the program, candidates must provide two recommendation letters from professors or employers who can assure for their skills and character
