- In South Waziristan, two terrorists were shot and killed: ISPR
Two terrorists were fatally shot during a gunfight with security forces in the Dossali region of South Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said ISPR.
Based on intelligence reports of terrorist presence, security forces conducted a targeted operation in the general vicinity of Dossali, South Waziristan district.
As per the Inter-Services Public Relations, a fierce exchange of gunfire took place between the security forces and the terrorists, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.
Furthermore, the slain terrorists were found in possession of weapons and ammunition. They were actively engaged in terrorist activities, targeting security forces and causing harm to innocent civilians.
The ISPR stated that efforts were underway to thoroughly clear the area and eradicate any remaining terrorists.
