TikToker Samiya Hijab Full Case: Harassment & Justice
The case of TikToker Samiya Hijab has taken a darker turn, unraveling not just as a story of harassment and attempted abduction, but also of an abusive relationship that spilled into the public eye. What began as stalking has now escalated into allegations of leaked private videos, coercion, and a struggle for dignity in the face of public judgment.
The relationship and its breakdown
In her recent statements, Samiya revealed that her connection with the accused, Hassan Zahid, was not a casual acquaintance. According to her, Zahid had proposed marriage, and she initially agreed. However, the relationship quickly soured as it turned into what she described as an abusive and controlling bond.
“I said yes at first,” she explained in one of her videos, “but as time went on, I realised it was not safe for me. The abuse, the pressure, the threats—I had no choice but to step back.”
Her decision to withdraw, she says, was met with anger and retaliation. What followed was months of stalking, harassment, and pressure to reconcile, until the night of the alleged abduction attempt.
The abduction attempt and police action
On August 31, 2025, Samiya claimed Zahid tried to forcefully take her away from her residence when she was returning his gifts. CCTV footage captured burqa-clad figures at the scene, and the influencer later posted a video thanking Islamabad police for swiftly arresting him.
An FIR was registered under charges of harassment, assault, abduction, and defamation. Zahid was taken into custody and presented before a judicial magistrate, where he confessed: “Sir, I made a mistake.” The court handed him to police on a five-day remand for further investigation.
The viral videos
But just as Samiya began seeking justice, a new twist emerged. Multiple videos surfaced online showing her with Zahid. The accused allegedly leaked these private recordings after her refusal to continue the relationship.
For Samiya, this was not just another violation—it was an attack on her privacy and reputation. “This is exactly why I stepped back,” she said in response. “When someone uses personal moments to blackmail or shame you, that is abuse.”
The viral clips triggered yet another wave of online trolling and victim-blaming, reviving memories of the earlier AI-generated scandal she had already endured. This time, however, Samiya insisted that her story must be told in full—that silence only enables further exploitation.
A fight larger than one case
Samiya’s ordeal is a chilling reflection of the risks faced by women in Pakistan’s digital age: relationships weaponised into blackmail, personal data and videos misused, and harassment escalating into physical threats.
Her story sits uncomfortably alongside other recent cases, including the killing of influencer Sana Yousaf over a rejected proposal. Both incidents highlight how women’s autonomy in personal relationships can trigger violent reactions, often amplified by the reach of social media.

Samiya has made it clear she will not back down. She has vowed to pursue justice despite threats and attempts to silence her. “If my case is ignored, tomorrow it will be someone else’s daughter, someone else’s sister,” she said.
The way forward
At its core, the Samiya Hijab case is not just about one woman’s fight. It has forced Pakistan to confront broader questions:
- How can women be protected from stalking and coercion?
- What laws exist—or need strengthening—to stop the leaking of private videos?
- And most urgently, why does society continue to shame victims rather than hold perpetrators accountable?
For now, Samiya continues to stand her ground, her name tied to a story of harassment, abuse, and resilience in the face of relentless public scrutiny. Her case is both a cautionary tale and a call for action—against the culture of silence, and for a justice system that protects the vulnerable.
