Lower Kohistan: At least 10 people died and three others injured in a fire incident in a house in Lower Kohistan, the rescue sources said on Friday.
The shocking incident took place in Serri Pattan, Lower Kohistan where the roof of the house caved in due to intensity of the fire. As a result, ten people died and three others injured. Â The rescue workers reached the spot soon after receiving the information, and started operation to extinguish the fire. However, the cause of fire could not be ascertained.
In a similar incident in Quetta, six members of a family including children were burnt to death this year in January. The rescue workers said that the fire erupted after the family tried to on the heater but the house exploded due to the gas leakage.
They shifted the bodies to the local hospital and the initial reports suggested that the identification could not be ascertained.
