Sunny Kaushal speaks about the comparison to brother Vicky Kaushal

Actor Sunny Kaushal, the younger brother of Vicky Kaushal, recently appeared in the Netflix original film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga. In an interview, Sunny talked about being compared to his brother and how he views it as an artist.

Comparisons are Inevitable

In the Indian film industry, comparisons between siblings are quite common. In the case of the Kaushal brothers, both have gained immense popularity in the industry in a relatively short span of time. Vicky Kaushal has made a name for himself with films like Masaan, Raazi, and Uri: The Surgical Strike, while Sunny has appeared in films like Gold, Bhangra Paa Le, and now Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga.

In his interview, Sunny talked about how comparisons are inevitable when two siblings are in the same profession. He acknowledged that it is the easiest thing to do when two people from the same family are in the same industry. People tend to compare one with the other. However, Sunny doesn’t view it that way.

Different Experiences, Different Actors

According to Sunny, there is no comparison between him and Vicky as they are different individuals with different experiences. He believes that what makes them individual actors is how they view their experiences and their life and how they portray them into the characters they play on screen. As artists, they are both unique, and their craft is different.

Sunny further elaborated that he doesn’t view the comparison between him and his brother as it is not inevitable for him. He sees it as something that people do because they are siblings, but for him, he is as different from his brother as he is from any other actor in the industry.

Sunny’s career in the industry is relatively new, but he has already shown his versatility as an actor. From playing a hockey player in Gold to a bhangra dancer in Bhangra Paa Le, he has proved that he can take on different roles and portray them with conviction.

Sibling Rivalry

Sibling rivalry is a common phenomenon in any profession, and the film industry is no exception. However, in the case of the Kaushal brothers, there seems to be no such thing. Both brothers have spoken about their mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work. In a recent interview, Vicky praised Sunny’s work and said that he is proud of him.
