Pneumonia claimed the lives of six more children in Punjab within the last 24 hours, as reported by the health department on Tuesday.
The Punjab Health Department stated that there were 475 new cases of pneumonia reported in the past day, with 175 of them from Lahore alone.
The total number of deaths due to pneumonia in Punjab has now reached 347, with six more children succumbing to the illness. Additionally, Punjab has reported a total of 25,073 pneumonia cases, including 5,334 in Lahore, according to health authorities.
Health authorities in Punjab are working to address the increase in cases, stressing the importance of public awareness and preventive measures to control the spread of the infection.
