LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah is a prime suspect of his assassination.
He expressed these views while talking to Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) President Kazim Khan who called on him in Zaman Park on Tuesday.
The former prime minister said that he is ready to sit in any All Parties Conference (APC) to protect the constitution of Pakistan.
The PTI chairman said that Rana Sanaullah is not a federal minister, but a leader of ‘terrorists’. He said that PML-N leader Abid Ali Sher’s father had already defined the character of Rana Sana. He said that he would go for legal action against Rana Sana for hurling threats at him during a recent interview. Rana is a coward man, he added.
“Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is group of thieves,” Khan said, adding that the announcement of election date is just like the political death of the PDM.
Earlier talking in Gujranwala, the PML-N Punjab President Rana Sanaullah deviated from his previous threatening statement to PTI Chairman Imran Khan, saying that “I meant it politically.”
Rana Sanaullah said that the politicians talk about politics and this was what he meant when he was talking about Imran Khan.
“Some TV anchors have also misunderstood my statement,” said the Interior Minister.
Rana Sanaulllah said that he appeared before the court in its honor and respect, pointing out that the respect of the courts was important. He regretted that Imran Khan was appearing before the courts ‘with mobs’ and despite that he is granted bail in several cases at a time.
