PTI to take legal action against Qadir Patel for levelling allegations against Khan

  • Qadir Patel would face legal repercussions from PTI for making charges against Khan.

LAHORE: The PTI has announced its intention to take legal action against Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel and his assistants for their claims about the medical condition of party chairman Imran Khan. This decision was made with Imran’s approval, and the party’s legal team, led by Barrister Abuzar Salman Niazi, is preparing for the legal proceedings.

In response to Abdul Qadir Patel’s statements regarding Imran Khan’s medical state, PTI leader Farrukh Habib issued a strong rebuttal, describing the minister’s claims as shameless and vulgar. Habib emphasized that the Imran khan’s party would not tolerate such nonsense and would not allow it to go unchallenged.

Habib also expressed his disapproval of any attempts to ban Imran Khan and his party based on the pretext of the May 9 arson incident. He criticized the lack of rule of law in the country and the helplessness of the justice system. Habib questioned the justification for punishing Imran Khan, who has been advocating for freedom of speech and exposing corruption. He called for immediate elections as a means to ensure stability in the country, stating that suppressing voices through fear would only breed hatred among the people.

During a press conference, Farrukh Habib highlighted the economic challenges faced by Pakistan. He pointed out that the country’s growth rate has significantly declined compared to the PTI’s tenure. Habib expressed concern over the decrease in exports, remittances, and agricultural output, and predicted further declines in the coming months.

Overall, the PTI is taking legal action against those making claims about Imran Khan’s medical condition, strongly refuting such claims, opposing any attempts to ban the party, and addressing Pakistan’s economic woes.
