- The PTI leader says he will file contempt petition in the Lahore High Court against police operation.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior vice-president Fawad Chaudhary said that what happened in Zaman Park–the residence of Imran Khan–is clear violation of the court directions.
“The government authorities were supposed to make TORs as decided mutuallly before the Lahor High Court,” said Fawad Chaudhary, terming the operation as illegal and unlawful.
He said that the main gate of the house was broken down and its privacy and sanctity were violated. He expressed these words while addressing a press conference on Saturday. Former Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari and former Commerce Minister Hammad Azhar were also present there.
Fawad Chaudhary said that they clearly told the police that they would cooperate with them but they launched operation and violated the agreement.
The operation, he said, was launched when Imran Khan had left for Islamabad to appear before the court.
He claimed that agenda was set by Maryam Nawaz which was executed by the police. The PTI leader said that the PTI chief was being barred from going to court and the workers were targetted by the police.
“What is happening today is reflection of what happens in Gaza and Palestine,” said Fawad Chaudhary, pointing out that he moved contempt petition in the Lahore High Court against the police operation.
Fawad Chaudhary said, “The IGP and Mohsin Naqvi both know that if the PTI will come to power they will be held accountable over death of Zille Shah,”.
He stated that IGP Dr. Usman Anwar turned out to be personal which was highly condemnable. The PTI workers, he said, were ready for countrywide protests against the fascist government.
“We are waiting for the approval of Imran Khan for countrywide protests,” said Fawad, adding that the elections would be held timely and the PTI would come into power.
He said that they also tried to reach Zaman Park but all the roads leading to it were blocked and the public was suffering.
Shireen Mazari termed it “London Plan” and strongly condemned the operation.
“Is it state waging war against its own people?,” she asked, regretting over the poor economic situation.
Mazari questioned over Dar’s statements about nuclear weapons, saying that whether Dar and Nawaz Sharif had some agenda against these weapons.
“There is something hidden behind the plans being chalked out by Dar and Nawaz Sharif,” she added.
She stated that the incumbent governemnt was committing terrorism against its own people. She also addressed Maryam Nawaz why she made the statement that “they could have arrested Imran Khan,”.
