Petrol, and Diesel Prices Hiked Across Pakistan

The Government of Pakistan has announced a significant increase in the prices of petroleum products, affecting petrol, diesel, and kerosene across the country.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been raised by 5 rupees, bringing the new retail price to ₨258.17 per liter.

High-speed diesel has seen a sharper increase of 7 rupees and 32 paisa, taking its new price to ₨275.70 per liter. Meanwhile, kerosene oil will now cost ₨180.53 per liter, up by 4 rupees and 73 paisa.

The latest hike is expected to impact transportation costs, goods prices, and daily household expenses nationwide, prompting concerns from consumers and business communities alike.

Authorities have yet to announce whether any measures will be introduced to mitigate the financial burden on the public following this adjustment in fuel prices.
