Pakistan to Face Bangladesh in Dhaka
The three-match T20I series will test Pakistan’s bench strength as the team management focuses on giving opportunities to young players in different conditions. The Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka has traditionally favored spin, and Pakistan’s squad composition indicates a tactical plan to handle Bangladesh’s bowling in home conditions.
India’s Bangladesh Tour Postponed
In related developments, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) have mutually agreed to postpone India’s six-match white-ball tour to Bangladesh, which was initially scheduled for August 2025. The decision comes amid political tensions in Bangladesh following last year’s mass uprising that ousted then Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The series — featuring three ODIs and three T20Is — has now been rescheduled for September 2026, with exact fixtures to be finalized later.
Concerns for Pakistan
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s star pacer Haris Rauf has been ruled out of the MLC 2025 and remains doubtful for the Bangladesh series due to fitness concerns, raising questions about Pakistan’s pace attack depth.
With an exciting mix of fresh faces and seasoned campaigners, the Pakistan T20I squad for Bangladesh 2025 is ready to deliver competitive cricket in Dhaka. Fans will be hoping for a strong performance.
