The PML-N senior vice-president says that it takes hardly five minutes if the state wants to arrest someone but the events in Zaman Park have revealed who the real godfather is.
Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that what happened outside the residence of Imran Khan was against the state as the PTI workers attacked the law enforcement personnel.
“What a political party is doing has not been seen earlier,” said Maryam Nawaz while addressing a press conference.
She also referred to the PTI’s previous attack on the parliament and the Islamabad police personnel. It all showed that what was a don or who was the godfather.
Maryam also criticized Panama bench, saying that they called Nawaz Sharif as godfather and silian mafia but the events took place outside Zaman Park showed totally a different picture.
“Justice Khosa gave awful titles to Nawaz Sharif,” she said, pointing out that Imran Khan was a proclaimed offender and he was not being arrested even during his appearance before the courts.
“The courts summon don but he is not appearing before them. The country’s police are conducting oprations to arrest don,” said the PML-N leader, adding that what Imran Khan was doing now was not seen before. She went on to say that still there were the facilitators of the PTI Chief and accused him of using banned organization’s members to attack the state.
“If the state wants to arrest someone it takes hardly five minutes but the state does not want any bloodshed,” she added.
