At least 70 Palestinians have been killed and over 200 injured in the latest Israeli assault on Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The attacks involved tank shelling and airstrikes, creating what locals describe as a “doomsday” scenario.

Residents of Khan Younis described Israeli tanks advancing over 2 kilometers into Bani Suheila, forcing many to flee under heavy fire. Hamas condemned the attack, urging the international community and the UN to intervene and stop what it calls a “genocide.” According to Hamas, at least 39,006 Palestinians have been killed and 89,818 injured since Israel’s war on Gaza began in October.
