Famous TikToker Khurram Gujjar arrested in Lahore in €200,000 fraud case
Lahore police have arrested well-known TikToker Khurram Gujjar in connection with a high-profile fraud case worth €200,000, accusing him of deceiving an overseas Pakistani under the pretext of selling a commercial plot.
According to Defence C police, complainant Rana Arsalan alleged that the TikToker took the hefty sum, promising to transfer ownership of a commercial property in Lahore. Despite repeated follow-ups, more than a year passed without any transfer of documents. Instead of fulfilling his promise, Gujjar allegedly began delaying tactics. When Arsalan finally demanded a refund, Gujjar not only refused to return the amount but allegedly threatened him with serious consequences.
Police registered a case and took the TikToker into custody. Officials confirmed that charges of fraud, criminal breach of trust, and issuing threats have been filed against him. The investigation is now underway, with police examining financial records and previous transactions to determine if other individuals were also victimized in similar scams.
Khurram Gujjar, who has more than two million followers on TikTok, is widely known for portraying a flashy lifestyle on social media. His videos regularly feature expensive cars, luxury bikes, and even a pet lion, which made him one of the most recognizable figures on Pakistani TikTok. However, police said his extravagant image may have been funded through fraudulent activities, raising questions about the authenticity of his wealth.
The case has sparked widespread discussion online, with many social media users expressing shock over the allegations, while others accused him of using fame to exploit people. Authorities have urged citizens, particularly overseas Pakistanis, to remain cautious while making financial transactions with unverified individuals.
Police sources confirmed that further investigations are in progress and that Khurram Gujjar could face strict legal action if the charges are proven in court.
