Dr. Warda’s postmortem report reveals shocking details

The postmortem findings in the tragic murder of Abbottabad doctor, Dr Warda, have surfaced and confirmed disturbing details about her death, as the autopsy report revealed that she died due to a fractured neck bone and suffocation, ARY News reported on Tuesday. The report, prepared by a seven-member medical board, has now been forwarded for additional forensic examination as investigators continue to piece together the circumstances of the killing that has shocked the region.

Dr Warda, who was abducted on December 4 from the Benazir Shaheed District Hospital by her close friend Rida, was allegedly murdered in a premeditated plot involving accomplices identified as Nadeem, Parvez, and Shamraiz. According to officials, she was taken to an under-construction house where the suspects executed a plan that police say had been orchestrated in advance. Her body was later recovered after the arrests of three suspects, while the prime accused remains at large.

Medical Superintendent Dr Amir Israr confirmed that the autopsy was completed by a panel of seven doctors before the body was handed over to her family. The victim, a mother of two, had been living with her father Mushtaq while her husband Raheel Ali Raza worked in South Korea. He is scheduled to return to Pakistan on December 11 following the devastating news.

Earlier, District Police Officer Haroon Rasheed stated that the murder was carried out deliberately, with all four suspects allegedly playing a role in the abduction and killing. Investigators disclosed that the crime had roots in a dispute dating back two years, when Dr Warda gave her friend Rida a quantity of gold that was never returned. The tension reportedly escalated ahead of the murder, as Dr Warda pressed for the gold’s recovery.

On the day of the incident, police say Rida lured the victim to her under-construction property where the others were waiting, with Nadeem allegedly masterminding the plan. Charges including kidnapping and murder have now been added to the case as police continue their search for the fourth suspect.

Meanwhile, Dr Warda’s father has accused certain police officials of taking bribes during the investigation and demanded the arrest of the SHO and DSP. The police have rejected the allegations, insisting that the investigation is being conducted transparently and that strict legal action will be taken against everyone involved.
