Balochistan Board Announces Matric Annual Examination Results 2025

The Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) has officially announced the much-awaited Matric Annual Examination Results for 2025, bringing relief and celebration for thousands of students and their families across the province.

Chairman of the Balochistan Board, Muhammad Ishaq, made the formal announcement on Tuesday, confirming that a total of 148,114 students appeared in the matric exams this year. Out of these, 100,870 students successfully passed, bringing the overall pass percentage to 68.10%.

Top Position Holders

The results also highlighted some remarkable individual performances:

  • First Position: Aftab Alam, a student at Balochistan Residential College, secured the top spot with an impressive 1,051 marks.
  • Second Position: Muhammad Hashir earned second place with 1,043 marks.
  • Third Position: Muhammad Tufail and Saqib Ali shared the third position, each scoring 1,038 marks.

The Board praised the dedication of students, teachers, and parents who worked hard despite various challenges faced in the region’s education sector.

Progress in Digital Verification

In a related development, the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) has moved forward with digitization efforts in Sindh by shifting the verification process for matric and intermediate certificates entirely online.

As per the IBCC notification:

  • All sealed envelopes for manual certificate verification will no longer be accepted.
  • Students must now use the online system for certificate verification.
  • Educational boards across Sindh are being integrated with the IBCC’s digital platform.
  • Currently, the Karachi Matric Board, Sukkur Education Board, and Ziauddin Board are linked to the online system. Other boards have been instructed to digitize and upload academic records urgently to ensure a seamless verification process for students and institutions.

This step is expected to make the verification process more transparent, faster, and convenient for students applying for further education or jobs both within Pakistan and abroad.

A Big Step for Balochistan’s Students

The announcement of the Matric Annual Examination Results 2025 marks another milestone for Balochistan’s students, showcasing their hard work and resilience. Education authorities have expressed commitment to further improve the quality of education and provide better opportunities for students to excel at national and international levels.

Congratulations to all successful candidates and best wishes for your future academic journey!
