Babar Azam consulted in team selection, says Najam Sethi

The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee, Najam Sethi, has given assurance to Babar Azam that he will remain the captain of the Pakistan cricket team in both ODI and T20I formats.

There were also rumors regarding the rest of vice-captain Shadab Khan for the upcoming New Zealand series, but he has been included in the team as the deputy of Babar Azam. Sethi also clarified that Babar’s suggestions were taken into consideration during the team selection process.
