After Pakistan’s loss to India on June 9, a video surfaced on social media showing Azam Khan enjoying street food in New York. Although it is unclear if the video was recorded after the match, a fan on X implied that the 25-year-old cricketer was enjoying his meal despite the scrutiny over his fitness and the team’s performance.
Pakistan, led by Babar Azam, has not yet scored any points in the Group A standings. They will now play against Canada at the same venue in New York on June 11. To stay in contention for the Super Eight, Pakistan must win their remaining two matches by large margins and hope for other results to go in their favor.
