Ali Muhammad Khan re-arrested in May 9 violence case

In a recent development, Ali Muhammad Khan, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, has been arrested by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police officials outside the Adiala Jail. The arrest of Ali Muhammad Khan is linked to a case registered at a city police station related to the violent events that unfolded on May 9. This arrest marks the third time that the former State Minister has been taken into custody, with previous apprehensions occurring in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, followed by his most recent arrest in Peshawar, where he was subsequently transferred to Mardan.

PHC Orders Release of Former PTI MNA Arrested in May 9 Attack on Military Installations:

Earlier, the Peshawar High Court (PHC) issued an order for the release of a former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) affiliated with the PTI party. This individual had been arrested in connection with the violent attack that took place on May 9, targeting military installations. The PHC’s directives led to the release of the former PTI MNA, who had been detained following the incident.

Protests and Clashes Erupt Nationwide Following Arrest of Ex-Premier Imran Khan:

The arrest of former Prime Minister and PTI chief, Imran Khan, at the Islamabad High Court on May 9 sparked widespread protests and violent clashes across Pakistan. Demonstrations were held in both remote and major cities, with PTI party workers expressing their discontent over the detention of their chairman. The provinces of Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the federal capital, Islamabad, witnessed these protests, leading to authorities summoning the armed forces to maintain law and order.

PTI Workers Target Army Installations and Lahore Corps Commander’s Residence:
