A local media outlet had shared a report claiming that Baig had stated having her first crush on her brother, which led to netizens calling her out.

Aima Baig shared her views on the controversy in an Instagram story on her handle.
Aima Baig has broken her silence and used her Instagram account to address the controversy surrounding her recent interview. She mentioned that she doesn’t usually come forward to clarify her statements, but her publicist brought this particular post to her attention.
Baig expressed her disgust at what she referred to as “yellow journalism” and stated that the ideology being shared is creepy and shameless. She went on to say that she doesn’t know if the media outlet is pushing an agenda, but she doesn’t want to be associated with it.
The singer of Ehd-e-Wafa expressed her disgust by stating, “I feel like throwing up… It’s ridiculous how anything is done for views. Work hard or leave me alone. Shame on you guys.” In her second Instagram story, she shared the link to the original video clip as she claimed that the publication was still sticking to its opinion. During her interview with Samina Pirzada, the singer revealed that her first crush was her elder brother’s friend. She clarified that her brother is seven years older than her. Unfortunately, the viral video clip omitted the part where she mentioned that her crush was her brother’s friend, not her actual brother, which caused the controversy.
