Azhar Mashwani still missing for last three days: Fawad Chaudhary

  • The PTI senior leader says the people of Pakistan cannot afford insult anymore.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior vice president Fawad Chaudhary said that Azhar Mashwani had been missing for last three days, pointing out that the fascism of the present government was unprecedented.

“They are raiding houses at the houses of the citizens and insulting the citizens,” said Fawad Chaudhary while addressing a press conference at Lahore Press Club on Sunday.

Party’s Secretary General Asad Umar and Musarrat Jamshed Cheema were also present there.

“We don’t know where Mashwani is for last three days,” said the PTI chief, pointing out that the police were insulting women by conducting raids in the darkness of the night.

The police raided at the house of Amir Mughal and abducted his ten-year old son.

He stated that the way the notices of FIA and anti-corruption were being sent to the PTI leaders and the workers showed the level fascism of the incumbent government.

He said petrol price was at $75 per barrel in the international market—very low price as compared to the PTI’s tenure and despite that the oil prices in Pakistan were not affordable.

The situation of the country, he said, was quite alarming and the international world also expressed surprise over what is happening in Pakistan.  Imran Khan was being booked in different cases.

Fawad also criticized PM Shehbaz over his response to President Alvi’s letter, saying that the letter he wrote to the president was also like press release of the PML-N.

The president, he said, advised the PM to act in accordance with the law but he, in response, wrote a press of the PML-N.

He also came down hard upon Rana Sanaullah over his statement that either they would be there or Imran Khan, saying that “the statement of the interior minister reflected as if he was a goon and he was heading a group rather than take care of the affairs of the state,”.
