According to recent reports, the actor is currently busy filming for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and has sustained an injury. However, the injury is not considered to be severe. While filming for an action sequence with Tiger, Akshay sustained the injury while performing a specific stunt. Currently, he is wearing knee braces to aid his recovery.
The source also mentioned that while the action scenes have been postponed for now, Akshay is continuing to shoot other scenes that involve close-ups. This is being done to avoid any delays in completing the filming schedule in Scotland.
Akshay Kumar unveiled a teaser of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in February 2022, which featured Tiger Shroff showcasing his impressive action abilities. In the teaser, Akshay humorously challenged Tiger, writing, “You were born in the same year I made my debut in films. Will you still compete with me, little one? Let’s go for some full-on action!” The movie is scheduled to release at the end of 2023.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie features Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran in prominent roles.
