12 Injuries Reported as Qatar Airways Flight Encounters Turbulence

Twelve people got hurt after a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Dublin hit turbulence on Sunday, May 26. The flight QR107 had turbulence over Turkey, causing injuries to six passengers and six crew members.

Emergency services like airport police and fire and rescue met the flight when it landed in Dublin just before 1pm local time. Despite the incident, Dublin Airport operations stayed normal. Airport staff helped passengers and crew.

Qatar Airways told that the flight landed safely in Dublin. They said a “small number of passengers and crew got minor injuries” and are getting medical help. The airline said they focus on passenger and crew safety. They’re looking into what happened.

This incident follows another turbulence accident on a Singapore Airlines flight where 104 passengers got hurt and a man with a heart problem died.
