UAE grants Golden Visa to Maya Ali

Maya Ali, a popular actress from Pakistan, has recently been granted a Golden Visa by the government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), making her part of an exclusive group of Pakistani celebrities to have received this prestigious residency status. The Golden Visa program was launched by the UAE government in 2019, with the aim of attracting wealthy and highly skilled individuals to the country by offering them long-term residency visas. This initiative is the first of its kind in the Middle East and has since garnered international attention.

The Golden Visa is granted for either five or ten years, and is automatically renewed upon expiration. This visa status provides foreigners with the ability to reside, work, and study in the UAE without requiring a national sponsor, and they also have 100% ownership of any business operating on the mainland.

Maya Ali expressed her gratitude for being granted the Golden Visa through an Instagram post, in which she shared a photo of herself holding the visa alongside a UAE official.

Maya Ali joins other Pakistani celebrities such as Humayun Saeed, Fakhar-e-Alam, Sana Javed, and her husband Umair Jaswal who have also been granted the Golden Visa. Internationally popular figures who have been granted the visa includes Cristiano Ronaldo, Shah Rukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt, and Suniel Shetty as well.
