Sonya Hussyn unveils the intense film ‘Daadal’ for all brave women

To all the brave and fearless women out there, Sonya Hussyn has taken on a challenging role in the new movie ‘Daadal’. Critics have praised Sonya Hussyn’s powerful and intense performance in the film, in which she plays Haya Baloch, a hit woman seeking vengeance against abusive men who have wronged women.

The film, directed and written by Abu Aleeha and produced by Neha Laaj, features a talented cast, including Adnan Shah Tipu, Rizwan Ali Jaffri, Mohsin Abbas Haider, and Shamoon Abbasi.

One of the most captivating moments in the film occurs just before the intermission, where Haya reveals the motive behind her killing spree. Responding to a review, Sonya Hussyn shared a clip from the movie on Instagram, stating how she felt about her role and the team’s efforts to make the film. She expressed her gratitude to Aleeha and Laaj for giving her the opportunity to play the character of Haya Baloch, who she says is very close to her heart.

Sonya Hussyn describes her character as someone who defines her and all women who are fearless, courageous fighters, and winners. She praised the whole team’s hard work and dedication, despite working in sweltering heat and physical injuries. The film has received mixed reviews, with some praising its production and cinematography by Asrad Khan and Faraz Alam, respectively, while others criticized its lacklustre second half.

‘Daadal’ is currently being shown in theaters and has been given different ratings in different regions of its jurisdiction. The movie has been rated U (suitable for Universal audiences) in Sindh and Punjab, while in Islamabad and other territories within its jurisdiction, it has been rated A (suitable for adults) due to its graphic violence, gore, and adult language. Hussyn is optimistic that audiences will enjoy the film as much as her previous performances.
