Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated the bating of Shaheen Shah Afridi and congratulated him and his team for winning the final match of PSL.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Chief Ministers of Sindh, Punjab, provincial administrations, and the police for successfully holding eighth edition of HBL Pakistan Super League.
Taking to Twitter, Shehbaz Sharif, “A nail-biting finish to the 8th edition of Pakistan Super League. My appreciation is due to Chairman PCB, CMs of Sindh & Punjab, provincial administrations, police & the participating teams for making the event a huge success. Spectators kept it animated with their energy & zeal,”.
In a separate tweet, the Prime Minister congratulated Lahoe Qalandars for clinching trophy by beating Multan Sultans in the final match of HBL Pakistan Super League 8.
Abdullah Shafique scored 65 while skipper Shaheen Afridi made 44 runs to lead their side to a strong position in the final clash with Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday night.
The PM had said, “Another Afridi with such power hitting … ���,”.
