Karachi: The martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (RA) – Youm-e-Ali – is being observed with religious zeal and fervor amid strict security arrangements in the country today.
The government authorities have been prescribed special routes for mourning processions in different parts of the country.
The heavy contingents of police have been deployed to ensure security of the mourners to avoid any untoward incident on the occasion.
The mobile service would remain suspended in certain parts owing to the security reasons in the areas where the processions will be taken out. The walk through gates would be established and every person joining the processions would be searched.
The latest reports suggested that the main procession in Karachi would be taken out from Nishtar Park to Imambargah Hussainia located in Kharadar area today’s evening.
Similarly, the strict security arrangements were made in Lahore for processions in different parts of the city. Additional security cameras were installed there and the security was beefed up for the main procession. The main procession would be taken out from Imambargah Qasar Zainabya in Sector G-5/4.
People establish stall of water, juices and distribute food among the participants of the processions.
Besides the processions, the majalis would also be held to pay homage to Hazrat Ali (R.A) on this day. Many people would also recite special kalams to express love and respect for him.
On this day, the special sittings are also arranged in the mosques where the scholars narrate the beautiful life and great sacrifices of Hazrat Ali for the faithful.
