LAHORE – A heavy contingent of Islamabad police on Tuesday reached the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s residence in Lahore to arrest him in the Toshakhana case.
Police party led by Islamabad DIG (Operation) Shahzad Bukhari reached Zaman Park to arrest the ousted prime minister in the Toshakana case.
The police team said that they had arrived in Lahore to comply with the court orders. The PTI chairman is facing a number of cases filed against him in different cities of the country.
An Islamabad court on Monday restored the Imran Khan’s non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case.
Last week, the Islamabad High Court suspended the non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan.
