Lahore- A devastating incident occurred during a wedding ceremony in Chungi Amar Sadhu, resulting in the burning of eight innocent children. The children, whose ages ranged from 6 to 16 years, were injured when they accidentally touched the wires on the rooftop of the wedding venue.
The injured children were immediately transported to the General Hospital for urgent medical attention. The victims included Ali Hassan, a 5-year-old boy, Hassnain, a 16-year-old boy, Seher, an 8-year-old girl, Muneeb, a 6-year-old boy, Zain, a 6-year-old boy, Rashid, a 7-year-old boy, Sheheryar, a 10-year-old boy, and Ayan, an 8-year-old boy.
Sadly, some of the children sustained severe injuries and were referred to the burn units of Mayo and Jinnah hospitals for specialized treatment. This tragic incident has caused immense pain and sorrow for the families of the children and the local community.
